While the town of Bellbrook may seem small, there are so many amazing activities that make Bellbrook seem like a bigger place. Whether you’re new here or have lived here your whole life, there’s something for everyone. From archery to pottery painting, you sure will not get bored.
For those who enjoy all things outdoor and being active, Bellbrook offers a variety of options. Grab a pickleball paddle and a friend or friends to play singles or doubles pickleball at Vemco Park. If you are interested in learning something new, the Bellbrook-Sugarcreek Parks District will be holding archery classes. Bellbrook is also home to the Little Miami River and that means canoeing. Spend a day with some of your friends at Bellbrook Canoe Rental.
If you are looking for something at a slower pace, the Bellbrook-Sugarcreek Parks District will be hosting yoga classes from May 14 – June 16. These classes are perfect for anyone who is a beginner. In addition, visit some of Bellbrook’s phenomenal hiking trails. Morris Reserve, Sugarcreek Reserve, and Sweet Arrow Reserve all have something unique to offer.
The Spring Lakes Park is a great place to find a bench, soak in a good book, and have a picnic with nature. But also the park includes a great pond for anyone who loves fishing.
The Bellbrook Brewing Company offers specialty food trucks throughout the summer. Enjoy Steaks & Cakes, Cousins Maine Lobster, and Little’s Grill Gourmet. For dessert, hit up Bellbrook’s local Dairy Shed, a staple piece to Bellbrook.
While the new Blue Berry Cafe in Bellbrook is working out the kinks, check out their newest location in Kettering for breakfast that no one can complain about.
Lastly, the Bellbrook Winters Library holds its annual summer reading challenge for all age groups. Read books and earn prizes along the way. Pre-register now to get entered into two drawings for Round 1 Bowling & Amusement. It’s a way to challenge yourself to read more books this summer. Tuesday, July 30 from 1:00-3:00pm the Bookmobile will be visiting the library for a book sale.
The library also hosts countless events for everyone and their interests. This includes puzzle races, lego activities, story times, photography classes, and art projects.
