The Bellbrook High School Marching Band has revealed their 2024 show entitled “Edward.” The show is largely based off of the 1990 Tim Burton movie, Edward Scissorhands.
The music is being arranged by Adam Jatho, David Carbone, and Bellbrook High School’s band director Cameron Halls. The show’s music will include songs from the Edward Scissorhands’ soundtrack, including Introduction, Ice Dance, and Edwardo the Barber.
Outside of the movie’s soundtrack, the show will include pieces such as “Uninvited” by Alanis Morissette, “Creep” by Radiohead as a pre-show, and “Nocturnes Op. 55,” also known as the Evil Morty theme from Rick and Morty.
The show’s drill is being done by Michael Gains, who has worked with bands such as The Cavaliers and the Santa Clara Vanguard. The show’s visual coordinator is Tyler Garcia.
The BHS band will be performing at six competitions this year on the regional and national level, including the Bands of America Grand Nationals competition in Indianapolis. They will also be at five home football games and three away football games, as well as any playoff games in the upcoming season.
