Although looking pretty for the holiday is something a lot of people want, there is no need to spend $90 on a Flynn Rider costume from Amazon the week before. There are a lot of easy, cute, and comfortable costumes that are easy to pull together quick

Mystery Incorporated, the classic group from Scooby Doo, can be an easy costume to put together. All parts are clothes people normally have or clothes that can be found while thrifting or at Target or Walmart. For Fred, all you would need is jeans, a white long-sleeve shirt over a blue collared shirt, and an orange piece of fabric to be his classic ascot. Daphne wears a purple dress or skirt with a green scarf and simple white boots. Velma would need a red skirt, orange top, orange socks and black shoes. Shaggy is simple with a green shirt and brown pants.

Another easy costume is going as Minions from the movie Despicable ME. This costume doesn’t have a number limit because there are so many minions. To do this, find some yellow, denim, and goggles. If you really want to go above and beyond, you could use yellow body paint, but it isn’t necessary.

Princess Peach and Mario are also two easy costumes to put together with clothes you probably already have. To dress up as Mario, wear a red shirt, red hat and a pair of overalls. You can also use eyeliner to draw on a mustache or buy a stick-on from a store. Princess Peach can wear a pink shirt, white skirt, or pink dress. Add white boots or shoes and a little pink tiara that could be found in the kid’s section or any store to finish the look.
