As Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour comes to an end, it is clear that it did not fall short of success. Although fans from all over the world have been raving about this tour for months, not everyone may know what all exactly it entails.
Each show is over 3 hours and 15 minutes long and showcases 46 songs, so there’s something for everyone attending to enjoy. The songs are organized by each album, or “era” as Swift calls them. The concert starts with the older eras and ends with the newer ones, with a couple surprise songs sprinkled throughout. Fans waited in-day long lines to get tickets, eager to hear their favorite songs live.
Not only do fans go to the concerts for the music, but the atmosphere of these shows has been one for the books. Fans gathered at the arenas hours before the shows started to meet new friends and trade homemade friendship bracelets, something that became a tradition for each show. It was also very common for fans who didn’t get tickets to tailgate outside of the arenas and listen to the concert from there. Livestreams have also become a very popular way to share this experience with everyone around the world who wants to see what the Eras Tour has to offer.
When asked about their experience going to these tours, it’s obvious that her fans have no regrets. “I would absolutely go see her again! Her concerts are showstoppers. The whole thing is an immersive and memorable experience. She’s a queen!” one fan in particular said.
As the last leg of the Eras Tour comes to an end on December 8, we hope to see similar tours like this in the near future as Swift releases more music.
Swift also recorded one live performance of the tour and viewers can watch it on Disney+.
