The Belbrook Boys golf team is off to a good start as they have placed well in multiple tournaments this season.

Luke Wehner and Harrison Koesters are juniors at Bellbrook High School and play golf for the school. “I think the team’s chemistry is the strongest because all of us are friends and love to compete with each other,” Wehner said. “I think our team is also more unique this year after losing our best player. We had to fill the gaps to still continue strong.”

“Our first invite stood out to the team when we first took first place and we realized how solid our team was going to be this year,” Koesters said.

Both of them agree that Hueston Woods always puts up a good challenge for the team, but they always go out and try to do their best. “After wins we usually go out and grab food to celebrate,” Koesters said.

“The goal this year is to win the SWBL and go to state,” Wehner and Koesters said. The team looks to finish the season on a high note as their season is coming to an end.
