Bellbrook High School invites senior citizens to a senior lunch

By Sean Markland

Bellbrook High School is excited to welcome our community’s senior citizens to the new event, a Senior Lunch. This is a special event that can celebrate the bond between generations and showcase the excellence of Bellbrook Schools.

The lunch will be held at St. Pierre Education Center on November 19 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and all local senior citizens are invited to join for a morning of food, conversation, and connection between students.

Students will share what they’re studying, their future goals, and how Bellbrook Schools have prepared them to succeed after graduation. “I am most excited about sharing what I do on a daily basis, but also what this school provides to me to help serve the community,” BHS senior Brady Read said. “I can’t wait to share about Supportive Peers.”

Guests will enjoy a delicious lunch, followed by short conversations from current students about their classes, clubs, and goals for the 2025-2026 school year. It’s an opportunity to see firsthand how Bellbrook’s education system helps students succeed.

Local Bellbrook-Sugarcreek Township resident, Marry Snyder, shared her excitement about the event. “I think it’s wonderful that the high school is doing something like this,” Snyder said. “It’s nice to be invited in and see what today’s students are learning about.”

Bellbrook-Sugarcreek Schools are thrilled to welcome community members to this special event. Whether you’ve lived here for years or are new to the area, this lunch is a great opportunity to connect with Bellbrook students. To sign up, visit the registration link here.
