As fall break comes around for Bellbrook High School November 24 to November 28, people are already planning what to do. There are events being held in and near Bellbrook for people to enjoy.
“The Friday before our Thanksgiving break, we always go out to eat at The Greene,” English teacher Paige Lewis said. Lewis goes every year on the Friday before break to see the tree lighting and parade at The Greene.
“I’ll be going to Hollywood Studios to go and see the Star Wars area [at Disney World],” social studies teacher Stephanie Tomlin said.
On Sunday, November 23, OUTSIDE the BOX, an art studio in Bellbrook, is hosting a clay ornament workshop. Per seat it is $35 and each participant gets five ornaments. If you’re under 16, you’ll need a guardian to supervise you. Participants get to make personalized ornaments to hang up.
Winter’s Library in downtown Bellbrook is also hosting a Nailed it or Failed it event for teens grades 6 and above on November 24. Inspired by the Netflix series “Nailed It!,” the show itself features bakers trying to recreate a dessert that looks well made, only for the bakers to do a less than desired job.
On November 27, the Ohio River Roads Runners club will be hosting a Turkey Trot starting at 8:30 am.
