As 2025 comes to an end, various music platforms have released their personalized annual listening summary for users, with the most popular being Spotify Wrapped, Apple Music Replay, and Amazon Music Delivered. These listening summaries provide users with insights and statistics into their unique listening habits over the entire calendar year.
Spotify Wrapped initially debuted in 2016, with Apple Music Replay following suit in 2019, and Amazon Music Delivered releasing in 2024. Each music app features different insights, but they all tell users their top songs, artists, and albums.
Senior Amanda Pray has Spotify Premium, so she gets unlimited skips and considers her music statistics more personal to her because of it.
“My top artist was Zach Bryan, and my top song was Animals by Nickelback,” Pray said. “Very polar opposite.”
According to Spotify’s Global Wrapped, which encompasses the listening trends of all Spotify users, the top artist was Bad Bunny. This is Bad Bunny’s fourth time being the top Spotify artist, as he also won the top listening title in 2020, 2021, and 2022.
2025 was a big success for pop music — hit singles from numerous pop artists dominated the top song charts, and the top albums this year featured some of the biggest pop releases of the year.
The top albums on Spotify in 2025 were DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS by Bad Bunny, KPop Demon Hunters (Soundtrack from the Netflix Film) by various artists, HIT ME HARD AND SOFT by Billie Eilish, SOS Deluxe: Lana by SZA, and Short ‘n Sweet by Sabrina Carpenter. This is the second year in a row that Eilish and Carpenter have been featured on this list.
Zane Pittman, a BHS senior, approves of the top five Spotify albums. Although he has not listened to Bad Bunny’s album or SZA’s album, he has heard that they’re popular and have great ratings.

“HIT ME HARD AND SOFT is also a really amazing album,” Pittman said about Eilish’s album that’s been a top five album for two years consecutively. “All of the songs are 10/10, but I really like BLUE the most.”
