Bellbrook High School’s winter senior night was on February 6 at the men’s basketball game versus Talawanda.
Seniors in basketball, swim and dive, basketball cheer, wrestling, and bowling were escorted down the basketball court with their family members as they are introduced and recognized for their hard work during their final winter sports season.
Similarly to football senior night, basketball senior night featured special cheers and dances sanctioned by the three senior basketball cheerleaders.

“I love cheering with everyone in general,” senior basketball cheerleader Erjuwan Khaffaf said. “This will be one of our last home games, and I’m excited for the senior dances and half-time and crowd cheers.”
As winter sports wrap up, spring sports are beginning–track and field, lacrosse, baseball, softball, and boys tennis are starting, and some seniors are busy with end-of-winter-season and pre-spring-season overlap, while others are soaking in the final moments of their winter sport seasons.
“I feel kind of sad about [senior night] because I’ve been on the swim team since freshman year,” senior swimmer Erin Secody said. “So it’s the end of my longest sport in high school.”
“This [basketball cheer] season went by super, super fast,” Khaffaf said. “I can’t even believe senior night is here.”
