Get ready to see Bellbrook High School’s annual talent show, which will kick off spring break on Friday, March 20. The talent show will be held in the auditorium during the final hour of the school day and last approximately one hour and have 14 acts.
Seniors Emme Sears and Zoe Howard will be the emcees who will direct the flow of the show, introduce the performances, and provide scripted commentary.
Sophomore student government officer Kenley Von Handorf and her fellow officers are in charge of planning the show alongside Madame Mize.
Students can expect to see dancing, singing, playing of instruments, and, according to Mize, “There may be a few jokes shared.”
Despite staff participation in years past–such as Ms. Tomlin’s judo demonstration, or Officer Black’s singing–there are no known staff talent acts this year. Senior Bri Vermillion and juniors Jackson Bruckart and Max Bruggeman will be returning to the talent show again this year.
To entice upperclassmen with early release to come back to watch the show, the sophomore class officers are setting up a raffle, with more information soon to be shared.
“As far as the raffle goes, I don’t know the exact details,” Von Handorf said. “We are still nailing down everything on that.”
“We have a few seniors performing and supporting your classmates and peers is always welcome and encouraged,” Mize said. “The show has something new every year!”
