“Melania 20 Days to History” is a documentary directed by Brett Ratner and executive-produced by current first lady Melania Trump. The film goes into what Melania Trump’s life was in the twenty days leading up to January 20, 2025, when President Donald Trump’s second presidential term began.

Amazon MGM Studios released the trailer on December 17, 2025, for “Melania: Twenty Days To History.”

“Melania” released to theaters on January 30. With Melania Trump describing what details of her being at public places, rather than her actual home life, some viewers were mildly disappointed. According to Rotten Tomatoes, critics say the film was “presented with great pomp and circumstance, but little insight.”

“MELANIA, the Movie, is a MUST WATCH. Get your tickets today — Selling out, FAST!” President Trump said on his social media. The movie was promoted by President Trump on social media platforms such as X.

According to Rotten Tomatoes, the lack of information caused a lot of people to be curious about it, while others enjoyed it and liked being able to see the First Lady’s fashion sense.

“There’s no insight or emotion,” said anassha-12284 on IMDb. “Just surface-level storytelling that feels more like a rushed school project than a meaningful film.”

Those on IMDb take another opinion on it. Many reviews note how dull the film was, and how it presented facts in a disconnected manner.
