Bellbrook High School’s “Midnight in Manhattan” themed prom will be held at the Top of the Market event venue on Saturday, April 11 from 7 – 10pm. This new prom location is in Webster Station, a neighborhood in Downtown Dayton.

Previously, the BHS prom was held at Carillon Park, which was in a more suburban area of Dayton. Top of the Market is located in the heart of Dayton, and is just a short walk from the historical Oregon District.

If you are feeling adventurous, Agave & Rye is a fun dinner option. “Agave & Rye is a modern tex-mex restaurant, and they have a bunch of different tacos you can get,” Senior Remy Conwell said. “The gangsta taco is the best. Most of the things on the menu are tacos, but you can also get a flight with three mini tacos. One even has kangaroo in it.”

Normandy Church is a historical stone church and a popular location for school dance pictures. Senior Venus Aggarwal took pictures there for her junior prom last year. “There were probably three different schools there, but the church was gorgeous. You did have to wait in line to take pictures,” Aggarwal said. “But it was so worth it because all the pictures came out so beautifully and there are so many different options.” 

Aggarwal will be taking senior prom pictures at the Orville Wright Hawthorne Hill house this year. “The photographer I take senior pictures with says it is a beautiful place, and I’ve seen pretty pictures of the location.”
