Fall sports wrap up

The BHS sports teams are football, football cheer, soccer, cross country, golf, volleyball, and women’s tennis. Supportive Peers program encourages inclusion and changes lives

by Claire Cutting Bellbrook High School’s Supportive Peers program, created by teacher Tess Rivero in 2021, has been promoting inclusivity throughout the Bellbrook-Sugarcreek community. The initiative pairs high school student Lead Peers with Peers, students in the district’s special education program, to create authentic relationships. Each day, Lead Peers spend 45 minutes with their Peers, assisting them with schoolwork, socializing, and offering encouragement.
