Attention 90’s kids: Your favorite comedic duo is BACK!
That’s right everyone, Kenan Thompson and Kel Mitchell reunited on Wednesday, September 23, on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon.
Good Burger, a fan favorite the two starred in, came out over 15 years ago in 1997 (that’s the year many 2016 seniors were born!) Their appearance on the show featured a sketch based on that very movie, along with their friend Jimmy Fallon himself. In the sketch Mitchell, as Ed, is now a supervisor, and Thompson, not as his original character (Dexter Reed), plays a construction worker named Lester Oats.
Kel Mitchell told Huffington Post, “From this, working together and talking about it and seeing reaction from the fans and how they were screaming, and seeing that the magic is still there, we’re just like, ‘Yeah, we gotta do some more stuff,’ so you’ll definitely see some more stuff. You’ll definitely see something coming up.”
We don’t have a specific time that the pals will release new content. But for now we can look forward to October 5 when Nickelodeon premieres “The Splat” which will give 90s kids the chance to see their favorite old shows like “The Amanda Show,” “Kenan and Kel,” and more!
