Bellbrook High School’s After-Prom is Sunday, April 24 from 12 am to 4 am at Five Seasons Sports Club. Tickets are $20 and include a commemorative t-shirt with the Great Gatsby theme. After-Prom, a long running tradition at Bellbrook High School, has in the past been at Skateworld, the Kettering Recreation Center, Skyzone, and other venues. The goal of After-Prom is to provide a safe environment for students to congregate after Prom festivities are over.
This year, the main attraction is bubble soccer along with a money cube and a photo booth with a green screen. Traditional favorites like cornhole and cards will also be provided. There will also be plenty of food from local businesses such as Cousin Vinny’s pizza, pulled pork from City Barbeque, Bill’s Donuts, Ritter’s Frozen Custard, DLM Killer Brownies, and Buffalo Wild Wings.
There will be over $2000 worth of prizes and giveaways. The grand prize is a $500 Visa gift card. Other prizes include an Apple Watch, an iPad, and a year’s worth of Panera, a value of approximately $200. Smaller giveaways include restaurant gift certificates to Blueberry Cafe, El Toro, Mama Disalvo’s, Jimmy Johns, McDonald’s, Fazoli’s, and Chick-fil-a.
A separate “Dinner & A Movie” raffle with a prize of $50 to Rave Cinemas and $50 to Buffalo Wild Wings is also taking place. This separate service project to collect canned foods is being coordinated by the Junior Class Student Government. Each unexpired can donated correlates to one raffle ticket. The winning ticket will be pulled and announced at After-Prom.
