After winning the previous two playoff games on October 29 and November 5, Bellbrook’s football team advanced to the third round against Tippecanoe High School. This round occurred on November 12 at the neutral site of Sydney High School, an hour away from Bellbrook High School. The game began at 7:00 p.m. with the opposing team, Tippecanoe, winning the coin flip and kicking first.

Bellbrook began strong with the first touchdown, leading 7-0. They held off Tippecanoe until the second quarter, where Tippecanoe managed to score a touchdown themselves. After a brief break, during which an injured player recovered and re-entered the field, Bellbrook quickly took back the first half with a field goal, bringing them to a 10-7 point lead with less than five seconds on the clock. They furthered the gap in the third quarter with a second touchdown, bringing the score 14-7 Bellbrook-Tippecanoe.

By the end of the game, the score was 38-7 with Bellbrook in the lead. As a result, Bellbrook’s football team will advance to the regional finals and play Badin Friday, November 19 at Trotwood.
