The Air Jordan 1 XQ is dropping for a third time

by Rayne McKinney

One of the rarest releases of Air Jordans in history was dropped exclusively in China in 2007. The Air Jordan 1 XQ, also known as Xing Qi, was first created to celebrate the opening of several Nike retail stores in Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, and Shenyang.

The first original pair dropped in 2007 and then just six years later the next drop came in 2013. Now, newly surfaced photos from sneaker leakers on the internet suggest that the Air Jordan 1 XQ is set to release once more sometime in 2022. Nike is known for having some unconventional collaborations between creators like rappers to video game consoles to whole cities.

Hope to see Xing Qi’s release once again in the upcoming year 2022. The third time’s the charm to get you a pair of these exclusive Air Jordan 1s.
