“Her Heart for a Compass” is written by Sarah Ferguson, a former wife of Prince Andrew, Duke of York, third child of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. Sarah Ferguson wrote this book to tell the love story of her great great aunt, Lady Margaret. The story “Her Heart for a Compass” begins with a young commoner, Lady Margaret Montagu Douglas Scott, attending the seasons of love to find a husband. Her parents prefer Lord Rufus Ponsonby, The Earl of Killing, in the name of their family’s political view. Lady Margaret wants to please her mother and her deceased father but runs away from the event distressed. She hopes to find true love…but will she? 

I really love this book 100 pages in. I don’t know too much, but the tension is strong between her and every other man she meets. I always wait for her to narrate about the man she encounters and the possible spark of love she feels for this man. I cannot wait to finish this book as I believe Lady Margaret will find true love in the four seasons.
