It Ends With Us

This book is a hidden love story. With character point of view changes, Hoover is able to write a life changing story that reveals a full-circle plot.

This book discusses domestic abuse in relationships by weaving it into the plot ever so slightly to resemble what abuse feels like mentally. By using this remarkable writing technique, the readers are able to go on the journey with the characters. As the story comes to an end, there seems to be a potential for a sequel as hope in the character’s situation is introduced.

It Starts With Us

There is a mix of positive and negative perceptions of this book in reviews. Ultimately, the sequel It Ends With Us achieves its purpose. However, some will argue that the first book of the series is able to make a longer lasting impression.

Hoover was planning to release a coloring book for the “With Us” series. Hoover decided not to release it due to backlash. It didn’t sit right with some people that in relation to discussing such a serious topic such as domestic abuse there would be a lighthearted coloring book tied to the issue.

A psychological thriller that will keep you on the edge of your seat, reviews agree that this book is a quick read, not by the amount of pages but by the anticipation and uniqueness of the book itself.

Reminders of Him

This is an enjoyable read for many strictly because of Colleen Hoover’s writing style. This book breaks social norms and boundaries by emphasizing the beautiful theme that is produced within the book.
