This book discusses domestic abuse in relationships by weaving it into the plot ever so slightly to resemble what abuse feels like mentally. By using this remarkable writing technique, the readers are able to go on the journey with the characters. As the story comes to an end, there seems to be a potential for a sequel as hope in the character’s situation is introduced.

It Starts With Us
