The Premier League faces a final race for the title

The Premier Football League, the professional soccer league in the United Kingdom, is currently in a final race for the title, with North London’s Arsenal holding a slim lead at the top of the table. However, Manchester City remains the heavy favorite for many, as they have a game in hand and a massive head-to-head clash coming the weekend of April 19 that could shift the momentum to City’s side.

While the top teams fight for the title, the bottom of the table is seeing a record-breaking low for Tottenham. They are in a relegation battle, sitting in 18th place and fighting for survival to stay in the Premier League. With only a few weeks remaining, the league is defined by Arsenal trying to avoid another last-minute season collapse and Spurs desperately trying to escape the drop.

As the Premier League season reaches its final run, fans are expected for a crazy finish. Bellbrook freshman soccer player Brayden Lucas is a frustrated Chelsea supporter. “My team has underperformed despite their massive spending this year,” Lucas said. “Cole Palmer has gone warm.” Lucas is now rooting for Arsenal to lose the title and Tottenham to be relegated to the Championship.

The desire for an Arsenal collapse is shared by Julian Smith and Owen Lake, both freshmen at Bellbrook who have played soccer for Bellbrook, hope Arsenal “bottle the league” in the final weeks. Smith is putting his support behind Manchester City for the title and hopes to see Newcastle and Chelsea climb into the Champions League spots.

Meanwhile, Lake’s focus is on the rivalry. He wants Manchester City to win because he cannot stand to see Arsenal succeed and also wants Tottenham to be relegated.
