Joe Burrow, Ja’Marr Chase, Orlando Brown Jr, the Cincinnati Bengals have an all-star lineup, and they are proving that they have what it takes to win this season. 

So far defeating the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Houston Texans, the Bengals lead the AFC (American Football Conference) North, and face off against division rivals the Pittsburgh Steelers on September 27.

Local fans are excited. “I like the Bengals because my dad and brothers like the Bengals,” Bellbrook High School Math teacher Carter Caldwell said.  “Also the locality with Cincinnati being the closest NFL city near us. ”

Caldwell’s favorite player on the Bengals is Ja’marr Chase, who is the Bengals leading touchdown scorer as of Week 2.

“I like the Bengals because they are my hometown team,” Freshman Marcus Rolley said. “But I think the Seahawks are going back to back for the Super Bowl.”

Two unexpected standout players this season are tight end Mike Gesicki and Linebacker Demetrius Knight, Jr. Knight recovered a fumble for a touchdown in week one against the Buccaneers, and Gesicki led the Bengals for receiving yards in the same week.
