2026 Homecoming at Bellbrook High School (BHS) was a success and profit for the school once again. Lots of students had fun throughout the week of activities and at the dance Saturday night.
This year around 680 tickets were sold for a total of $10,000 in sales. This led to a profit of $6,350 for BHS which goes toward the fund for school clubs and activities.
But Homecoming is obviously about more than money. This year’s Golden Royal Queen was senior Ella Kapfhammer and she described this year as her best Homecoming by far. “I was on the court freshman year, too, so being on it again this year was like a full circle moment,” Kapfhammer said.
Another Homecoming court attendant was junior Brien Lehman. Walking out on the field at halftime of the football game was the highlight for him. “I was nervous the whole week leading up to it but it was a great experience,” Lehman said. He had a great homecoming night too.
“The music was solid this year; but after homecoming was definitely the best part of the night,” Lehman said.
Homecoming is about more than the dance. It circles around the people you’re with and the ways you connect with them throughout the week. “I don’t think this Homecoming will ever be beaten for me personally. I made a lot of memories this week,” Lehman said.
