Whether you are going to a Halloween party or going trick-or-treating, you will probably need a costume. Most students don’t have the time to make a costume or have the money to purchase one. Here are some easy, cheap and quick costumes to make the night before the event.
Pig in a Blanket
For this costume, dress in all pink and wear a pink nose and a pig-ear headband. Find a blanket and wrap it around yourself. Now you are a pig in a blanket!
Smarty Pants
All you have to do for this costume is tape Smarties all over a pair of pants.
Identity Thief
For this costume, all you need is a t-shirt and some name-tag stickers. Write many different names and stick them all over your shirt.
Pickpocketer
This is great for a guitar player. Tape ten to twenty guitar picks to the back pocket of your jeans.
Bulletin Board
Wear a tan shirt and place sticky notes with reminders all over yourself. You may want to use fabric glue to ensure that they do not fall off.
Movie Theater Floor
For this costume, wear a black t-shirt and tape candy and popcorn boxes onto your shirt.
Tourist
Whether you wear a Hawaiian shirt or wear binoculars and khakis you could be traveling anywhere!
Ceiling Fan
All you need for this costume is a t-shirt, letters, pompoms and sweatpants. On your shirt, spell out the word “Ceiling.” Wherever you go, cheer for the fan on the ceiling to keep on spinning!
Ghost
You can always revert back to the traditional Halloween costume. Take an old sheet and cut holes in it for your eyes and mouth.
Scarecrow
For this costume, wear a pair of jeans, a plaid shirt, boots and if you have one, a cowboy hat. Find a fake flower and tape it to your shirt. If you can’t find one, grab a piece of leather and be a cowboy/cowgirl.
Batman
Find a cape or a towel that you can wrap around yourself as a cape. Wear all black and print out the batman logo.
Voila! You’re Batman.
Mummy
For this costume, all you need to do is wrap yourself in toilet paper. Walk around with your arms out and pretend to be rising from the dead!
