As Prom and the season when leaving the house is bearable approaches, it is worth mentioning restaurants in Dayton worth your money.
- Doubleday’s Grill & Tavern in Centerville has everything. From chicken pot pie to pizza, this foodie destination has a wide array of quality food for an even better price. There is also a new location in Springboro.
- Cherry House Cafe in Beavercreek is the definition of a hidden gem. Located behind the Kroger Marketplace in a dainty building, the staff prepare many different sandwiches, soups, desserts, etc…The restaurant is not meant for fancy dining but a lunchtime date. The turkey sandwich and chips is a must-try meal.
- Primanti Brothers, originally from Pittsburgh, the restaurant is famous for its sandwiches. Cole slaw and french fries top their signature sandwiches. Prices can be compared to Jimmy John’s and Penn Station, but the sandwich is worth it.
