The holidays are known for incredible food. Around the holidays parties and family gathering occur every weekend. What better way to celebrate than making homemade cookies and that show off your baking skills to friends and family. A recipe for kitchen sink marshmallow cookies is sure to wow everyone at your holiday gatherings!
Time: 45 minutes
Yields: 4 dozen cookies
Ingredients:
- 2 Cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- 2 stick of softened, unsalted butter
- 1 Cup granulated sugar
- 1 Cup packed light brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 Tablespoon vanilla extract
- 2 Cups of quick cooking oats
- 1 ¼ cups rice cereal
- 1 Cup chocolate chips
- 1 Cup chopped pecans
- 1 Cup mini marshmallows
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F
- Combine the flour, baking powder, and baking soda in a mixing bowl
- In another bowl beat the sugar and butter until fluffy
- Add in the eggs into the sugar and butter mix one at a time and beat until combined
- Add the vanilla extract
- Add the flour mixture and beat until combined
- Stir in the oats, rice cereal, pecans, and marshmallows
- Chill the dough for 30 minutes
- Place the cookies on a baking sheet and place in the oven to cook
- Enjoy!
