With Homecoming just a few days away many students still have questions about the dance. Here are some answers.

When and where is it?
This year’s homecoming is Saturday, October 9 from 7-10 pm at the Bellbrook Miami Valley South stadium.

Will there be a cow?
Despite attempts by many students, we will not have a cow at this year’s Homecoming.

What food will there be?
Unfortunately, there will be no food allowed or provided at Homecoming since the dance is held on the stadium turf. There will be water.

What is the theme?
Hometown is our theme for this year’s dance. Expect a night filled with pumpkins and hay bales! Think of it as a “Fall Harvest” theme.

Do I have to go with a date?
You do not have to bring a date to the dance. You are more than welcome to go by yourself or with a group of friends. However, it’s always more fun to go with people you know.

Can I bring in a guest?
Yes, but you’ll need to fill out a guest form before Thursday. Forms are provided by the office upon request.

What happens if it rains?
Rain? In Ohio? If it starts raining during the dance, we’ll move the dance under the bleachers for the remainder of the night unless there is lightning. Then the dance will be cancelled and rescheduled for 6p-9p Oct 10.

How much is a ticket?
A ticket is $15 each. You can buy them at the Athletic Office or online at: https://www.sugarcreek.k12.oh.us/BuyTickets.aspx. If you order online, the passcode is your student ID number. You may buy a total of two tickets. Any ticketing questions should be directed to Mrs. Cary, tamara.cary@bss.k12.oh.us

Do I have to dress up?
Traditionally people dress up for the dance, but you’re more than welcome to come in comfortable, school-appropriate clothing. Since the dance is outside, consider bringing layers. High-heeled shoes and flowers are not welcome on the turf field to protect it for future use. (We can’t have pins disappearing into the turf or heels ripping it up.)

When is the homecoming game?
The Bellbrook vs Oakwood Homecoming game will the Friday, Oct 8 at 7 pm. The Homecoming Court will be presented at halftime and the Golden Royal King and Queen will be announced.
