Bellbrook’s Art 3 and 4 classes are working though a current project of Funky Figures, an exercise in figure drawing and creative expression.
Here are a few statements from the Art 3 and 4 students:
Staci Z, Senior, Art 4: “It’s very cool and being able to work with Art 3 students is great because it generates more ideas; partnership is also important and inspirational!” Her theme for her Art 4 Focus projects is “The Landscapes of the Mind.”
Ally L, Senior, Art 3: “I’m excited for this class because there’s a lot of different mediums!” Her theme for her Funky Figures project is “Society’s Impact on Women: Pulling Women Apart.”
Lindsey S, Senior, Art 3: “I think the projects we’ve done so far are pretty groovy. I’m excited for what is next.” Her theme for her Funky Figures is “Being Heroic.”
Grace R, Senior, Art 3: “The class is super open and has comfortable deadlines, and Ms. Hensley gives us lots of room for project ideas!” Her theme for her Funky Figures is “Introspection of the Self.”
Kaylee N, Senior, Art 3: “It’s very easy-going in here; you get to do what you want project wise!” Her theme for her Funky Figures is “Water Fairy.”
Jack E, Senior, Art 3: “The class is chill and gives a lot of breathing room.” His theme for his Funky Figures is “Aspects of Me.”
Yuki K, Senior, Art 3: “I love this class! I am able to do a lot of self-expression in my work.” Her theme for her Funky Figures is “Dancing.”
