Bellbrook’s Winter Guard launches their 2021-2022 season

By Leanne Beane

Bellbrook’s Winter Guard began their season during Thanksgiving break and have been working diligently on their 2021-2022 performance. They cannot reveal the show’s title and theme until their premier on February 5, 2022, but it is described as being well-designed, cute, and loved by the staff and guard alike.

The guard is optimistic about their season and believes they will do very well, as the group is filled with talented performers. They have an excellent dance line and the flags, rifles, and sabers are successfully completing difficult maneuvers. Their drill is also very challenging, which will likely earn them a high score during competitions.

Their first competition will occur at the Bellbrook Invitational, where they will compete with over 30 other guard groups from nearby areas. The precise location has not been announced, but the Invitational has historically been in the Bellbrook High School’s main gym with the warmup occurring in the auxiliary gym.
