The Women’s Track and Field team performed admirably and placed 3rd overall with multiple athletes winning medals in the Southwest Buckeye League.
Sprints
In the sprinting discipline, Bellbrook’s Women’s team had freshmen Ainsley Gregory, Allison Gerbic, Allison Hollis, Katie Pryor, and seniors Teagan Melton, Cate Lensch, and Emily Crane.
In the 100m dash, Katie Pryor and Cate Lensch competed, and both advanced to finals where Prior ran 14.31 and Lensch 13.44. Lensch placed 3rd.
Prior ran alongside Teagan Melton in the 200m dash. Melton ran 30.77 in prelims, and Prior 28.79 in the finals. The 400m dash had only Melton in the lineup. Melton ran 1:07.17 in the finals.

The hurdles events had Allison Hollis and Emily Crane compete in the 100m hurdles. Hollis and Crane both advanced to the finals. Hollis ran 18.27 and Crane placed 3rd with 16.99. The 300m hurdles had Allison Gerbic and Ainsley Gregory, the two also advancing to the finals. Gregory ran 56.38 and Gerbic placed 4th, coming in at 51.50.

The relay sprints did well. The 4x100m placed 4th with a collective time of 54.36. The 4x200m edged out Eaton by 1.01 seconds to place 5th in a time of 1:57.31. The 4x400m also placed 5th in a time of 4:26.94.
Distance
The distance discipline had the following runners: freshman Emma Wolfenbarger, sophomores Makayla Skinner and Claire Cutting, and seniors Madison Bretland and Emily Crane.
In the 800m, Cutting and Bretland ran a 2:58.66 and 2:37.27 respectively. Crane placed 5th with a time of 5:29.78 in the 1600m, and Skinner ran a 6:41.90. In the 3200m, Skinner ran 14:30.05 and Wolfenbarger ran a 14:00.18.
In the 4x800m, the girls got last place with a collective time of 11:56.43

Throwing
The throwing discipline had the following competitors: juniors Tori Dreischarf and Grace Atchison, and seniors Acey Faulkner and Hayley Bullock.
In the discus field event, Dreischarf and Faulkner competed and made the finals. Overall Tori Dreischarf placed 5th and Acey Faulkner placed 11th.
In the shot put the field event, Grace Atchison and Hayley Bullock both competed and made the finals. Overall Bullock placed 7th and Atchison placed 10th.
Jumping
In the jumping discipline, seniors Cate Lensch, Kate Bowers, and Emily Crane, and juniors Lorelai Wolverton and Sophie Dagnall all competed.
In the high jump, Wolverton placed first overall beating second place by two inches jumping 4’11”. Sophie Dagnall ended with a 4th place finish.

In Long Jump, Emily Crane placed first overall with almost 4 inches more than second long jumping 16’7.25”. Wolverton finished 9th.
In Pole Vault, Cate Lensch placed 1st overall pole vaulting 11’1” beating her competition out by two inches. Kate Bowers placed 3rd and was a full foot higher than the 4th place finisher.
