Britannica mentions how Billie Eilish first got famous in 2015 for her song “Ocean Eyes.” In 2020, Eilish became the youngest person ever to win a Grammy for album of the year. Eilish was only 18 when she received the Grammy and her winning album was When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? Her other albums include Happier Than Ever (2021) and Hit Me Hard and Soft (2024). She has hit single songs like “What Was I Made For” which was made for the Barbie movie in 2023. Eilish has since gotten more than 10 grammys.

The album Hit Me Hard and Soft is making its way into the theaters May 8. The movie will be featured in 3D and is a version of her tour, so people can get a new concert experience.  The movie will be cheaper while getting the concert experience. Billie Eilish wants her fans to get a VIP experience whether they come to a concert or not.

Should people get to see artists in theaters without going to the concerts? “I think that it’s a fun idea for people who can’t afford actual concerts,” junior Avery Scott said.

Deadlines states how Billie Eilish is one of the most celebrated and successful artists of her generation. Eilish has made most of her revenue just by her three albums and touring. She also wanted her fans to have a cost efficient way to see the concert when they couldn’t afford to be there. She wants all of her fans to get the chance to see her even if they don’t have the finances.

As of right now, there is no estimate for how much money the movie will make, but there are estimates. “Maybe a little under a million,” freshman Anabelle Cyphers said.
