The School Resource Officer Rogers at Bellbrook High School (BHS) is sure that BHS is a very safe place to learn from. “The cameras cover every inch of the school,” Officer Rogers said. He noted that BHS has a great security system and the school is highly safe if anyone tries to get in.

“I don’t think students should be scared to go to school nor parents should be scared to send their child to school,” Officer Rogers said. He feels this way because he said BHS is a very inviting environment and great for learning.

According to the SRO, each time BHS has a technical problem with their doors, cameras, bells, and chromebooks, the administration gets them fixed as soon as possible.

BHS Vice Principal Mr. Limon is also sure it is safe school. “School safety is super important because students will come into school not worried about what could happen and it will be chaotic,” Mr. Limon said.

“Students should take lockdowns very seriously because I feel that they get lulled into thinking a shooting won’t happen,” Mr. Limon said. “Which is likely not to happen, but just in case, students should take it seriously at all times, and not make jokes about it.”
