Bellbrook High School’s graduating class of 2015 will be sending 9 highly talented students to further their education while playing college athletics.

Monica Hennen will be playing soccer for Wright State University.

“I am most looking forward to the traveling aspect of college athletics. I think it’s a great opportunity for college students to see landmarks and cities throughout the United States at such a young age. I have played soccer since I was 4 years old and my passion for the sport just keeps growing. “

Cameron Kelly will be wrestling for Ohio University.

“I chose OU because they have a good wrestling program as well as coaches and a real family feel to the team. It is also close to home and I feel that I will be happy there and that is the key factor to success and growth.”

Casey Demko will be playing baseball at Ohio State University.

“My favorite part about baseball is the challenges you are faced with everyday and how much mental preparation is needed. Failing 7 out of 10 times is considered great. I chose OSU because of the experienced coaching staff, location, and rich tradition.”

Ben Schram will be wrestling at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia.

“Wrestling teaches you a lot of respect and allows you to have a hard-working attitude. My favorite part is the few seconds of glory you get while  knowing that all of the pain you went through accomplished something. I started wrestling in Kindergarten and have loved the sport since.”

Sam Riggle will be playing lacrosse at Florida Southern University.

“I chose to play for Florida Southern University because of the warm weather. My favorite part of lacrosse is being able to be a leader on the team.”

Emily Witker will be playing volleyball at Sinclair.

“I really liked the coach and the players that I will be with at Sinclair. I am really looking forward to having the opportunity to meet new people, travel, and playing against tougher opponents. “

Alex Boardman will be playing tennis at Vincennes College in Vincennes, Indiana.

“I am really looking forward to the competition that I will encounter while playing for Vincennes. Tennis is a really mental game and I love that aspect of it. One of my friends got me into playing tennis and I haven’t stopped since. “

Miranda Greene will be playing golf for Flagler College in St. Augustine, Florida.

Lexie Seger will be playing basketball for Findlay University in Findlay, Ohio.
