Bellbrook Band Marches over Competition at Grand Nationals

by Morgan Sharbaugh

The Bellbrook Marching Eagles competed in the Bands of America Grand Nationals on November 14. After a long season of intense practices, the marching band performed the “best run of the season” according to junior drum major, Rhiannon Schonauer.

Their show “The Other Side” encompasses the journeys people take trying to get to the other side of something, represented through a series of bridges. Their performance on Thursday earned them 58 out of 91 bands overall, 16 out of 30 bands in Class AA, and 10 out of 29 bands in Ohio.
