Local artist Hollie Miller loves to quote: “You are the potter, I am the clay.”

Many cups are carelessly manufactured. “There is an art to making pottery,” Miller said. “And it should be appreciated for the process as a whole as it is made with love rather than being manufactured.”

Miller is passionate about the process of bringing a block of clay to life and demonstrates the magical process when making a mug.
