Every year in Bellbrook the Sugar Maple festival is held with many craft vendors and food trucks. The festival lasts three days, beginning Friday and going onto Sunday. During it, there is a parade held to celebrate the community.
At the festival, the vendors bring jewelry, trinkets, and on occasion some vendors will have foods such as honey or cookies. It’s hard to tell what will be there for next year with the vendors.
“There are always a good selection of vendors at the Sugar Maple Fest,” Amanda Brenner said. “I guess something that I would like, for me personally, is maybe some more vendors that have things that more align with my interests. I personally would love to see some more bookish related vendors.”
This year at the Sugar Maple Festival, many of the vendors have a target audience with hand crafted jewelry or trinkets geared towards younger kids. They also had a shop for little kids to buy books, but there was nothing for those older.
“I will say, that there is one thing that the recent person who’s taken it over these last couple years, he has done a great job, his name is Logan Ashley,” Brenner said.
Each year people are allowed to submit feedback for the festivals in years to come. Logan Ashley has managed the festival recently, and will likely be there for the 2027 Sugar Maple festival.
