High school seniors: I have some either troubling or exciting news for you. Graduation is a month away. Days left in school are down to the teens. If you never thought you’d make it this far, let me be the first to say congratulations! But, before we get there, there’s a ridiculous amount of things going on. Seriously, ridiculous. It’s going to fly by.
Everyone else: you’re almost there too. Sure, maybe it’s just to the end of your freshman year and you feel like there’s an eternity in front of you. Take it from an almost-graduate—it will go by, and when it does, you’ll wonder where it went.
Underclassmen, I wish you the best of luck in avoiding any senior pranks and tuning us seniors out before we go. You can do it!
April 19: No School
We all not only need this but we deserve this.
April 26: Avengers Endgame comes out, and also 2 hour early dismissal
I know the new Avengers movie coming out isn’t school-related, but I just felt like it was important enough to include. Quite possibly the most important movie ever, in my opinion.
April 26-28: Beauty and the Beast & The Sugar Maple Festival
Can we just take a moment to appreciate all that our Bellbrook Theater Department does, and by that I mean they consistently put on amazing shows. I can’t wait. I also can’t wait for the bourbon chicken stand at the festival. This is going to be a good weekend.
May 4: Prom @ Dayton Masonic Temple, 8pm
Prom! A Night to Remember! Shoutout to the junior class officers for all your planning. It doesn’t go unappreciated.
May 6: AP Exams begin, as well as last week for seniors!
Seniors, I bet you can’t wait for our Spirit Week with Career Day, the paint fight, College T-shirt day, and our Hawaiian-day cookout on our last day of school. If you’re taking AP Exams amidst all that craziness, my heart goes out to you.
May 7: Baccalaureate @ St. Francis, 7pm
Talk to Mr. Hartley if you want to perform or speak at the service!
